Terms and Conditions
Fluxentra Appliance Repair
Terms and Conditions
By approving the estimate, invoice, work order, service request, text confirmation, email confirmation, or payment for service, the customer authorizes Fluxentra Appliance Repair to inspect, diagnose, repair, test, and service the appliance described in the work order, and to install any necessary parts and materials.
The diagnostic/service fee covers travel, inspection, testing, and professional evaluation of the appliance.
This fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the customer proceeds with the repair.
If additional visits, re-diagnosis, or further testing are required due to unrelated issues, changed symptoms, inaccessible conditions, or customer delay, additional charges may apply.
Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service visit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair reserves the right to refuse further work, follow-up service, release of parts, or warranty consideration on any unpaid balance.
Deposits for special-order, prepaid, or non-returnable parts are non-refundable once the order has been placed.
Failure or refusal to pay for completed services does not invalidate the work performed, the charges incurred, or the customer’s obligation to pay.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair provides a limited 30-day labor warranty only for the specific repair performed and only for the specific issue addressed during the original service.
If the same repaired component or the same repair workmanship fails within 30 days from the date of service, Fluxentra may provide one (1) warranty service visit during normal business hours at no additional labor charge for that specific repair.
Any extension of labor warranty beyond 30 days may be granted only at the technician’s discretion and only if expressly approved by Fluxentra Appliance Repair. No warranty extension is valid unless confirmed by Fluxentra Appliance Repair.
Warranty service is provided by appointment only and is subject to safe access, proper installation conditions, and verification of the original repair concern.
Parts supplied and installed by Fluxentra Appliance Repair are covered by a limited 30-day parts warranty, unless otherwise stated in writing.
The parts warranty applies only to the specific part supplied and installed by Fluxentra during the original repair.
The parts warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- improper use,
- misuse,
- neglect,
- overloading,
- lack of maintenance,
- power surge,
- water damage,
- external electrical or plumbing issues, or
- failure of unrelated components.
Customer-supplied parts are not covered by any warranty and are installed at the customer’s sole risk. Fluxentra Appliance Repair is not responsible for the quality, condition, fitment, compatibility, or failure of customer-supplied parts.
Any warranty provided by Fluxentra Appliance Repair applies only to:
the specific part replaced, and/or
the specific labor performed.
The warranty does not apply to:
- new or unrelated failures,
- recurring symptoms caused by different components,
- pre-existing conditions,
- concealed defects,
- intermittent problems not present during service,
- control board, wiring, or electronic system failures affecting other systems,
- outlet, breaker, fuse, or home wiring problems,
- improper voltage or unstable power supply,
- gas supply issues,
- plumbing issues,
- clogged drains or venting issues not included in the original repair,
- improper installation,
- prior repairs attempted by others,
- customer modifications or attempted repairs,
- misuse, abuse, overloading, or lack of maintenance,
- rust, corrosion, wear, deterioration, or age-related appliance failure.
Repair of one fault does not guarantee the overall condition, future reliability, or remaining lifespan of the appliance.
Appliances may have multiple faults, hidden defects, or intermittent issues.
The estimate and diagnosis are based on symptoms and visible conditions present at the time of inspection. Additional problems may be discovered during repair, testing, disassembly, or after the original issue has been addressed.
The repair performed addresses the identified fault only and does not guarantee resolution of all symptoms.
If unrelated or additional problems are found, additional diagnostic, labor, and parts charges may apply. No additional repair beyond the approved scope will be performed without customer authorization.
The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the appliance and surrounding work area.
The customer must ensure that:
- the appliance is accessible,
- the work area is safe,
- pets and children are controlled,
- water, gas, and electrical shutoffs are accessible where applicable, and
- the appliance is reasonably prepared for service.
If the appliance is blocked, improperly installed, hazardous to access, unsanitary, or not ready for service, Fluxentra Appliance Repair may refuse or discontinue service, and additional labor or return-trip charges may apply.
Some appliances are tightly installed, connected to aging plumbing or electrical systems, or positioned in a way that creates access risk.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair is not responsible for damage caused by:
- improper prior installation,
- brittle, corroded, rusted, or deteriorated fittings,
- weak flooring,
- fragile cabinetry,
- hidden structural defects,
- seized or aged supply lines,
- pre-existing leaks,
- pre-existing physical damage, or
- conditions outside the serviced component.
Moving or accessing an appliance may reveal or trigger pre-existing failures not caused by technician negligence.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair is not responsible for water leakage, flooding, or water damage caused by:
- pre-existing plumbing defects,
- deteriorated hoses,
- cracked drain lines,
- worn seals,
- corroded fittings,
- failed shut-off valves,
- appliance age-related deterioration,
- unrelated component failure, or
- supply line rupture not caused by technician negligence.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that shut-off valves, supply lines, drains, and related plumbing connections are functional and in proper condition.
In cases of proven technician negligence, liability is limited strictly to the direct repair of the affected area only, excluding any incidental, consequential, or secondary damages.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair is not responsible for failures, delays, or damage caused by conditions external to the appliance, including but not limited to:
- improper voltage,
- unstable power supply,
- outlet failure,
- tripped breakers,
- faulty wiring,
- power surges,
- gas pressure or gas supply issues,
- venting restrictions, or
- plumbing restrictions.
Correction of such conditions is the customer’s responsibility.
Some appliances cannot be fully cycle-tested during a single service visit, and some defects are intermittent or appear only during extended operation.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair does not guarantee that any appliance has been restored to long-term, indefinite, or permanent operation, as additional underlying, concealed, intermittent, or age-related faults may exist.
Unless otherwise noted, the appliance was tested and found operational at the time of service completion.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair is not responsible for delays caused by:
- manufacturer backorders,
- shipping delays,
- discontinued parts,
- wrong parts supplied by a vendor,
- defective parts received from a supplier, or circumstances outside Fluxentra Appliance Repair’s reasonable control.
Special-order and non-returnable parts may require partial or full prepayment.
If repair is delayed for an extended period after diagnosis or after part arrival, Fluxentra Appliance Repair may require reinspection before continuing service.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee, missed appointment fee, or return-trip fee when:
- the customer cancels late,
- the customer is unavailable at the scheduled time,
- access to the appliance is not available,
- the appliance is not ready for service, or
- service cannot proceed due to customer-caused conditions.
Appointment windows are estimates only and may change due to traffic, prior job conditions, parts delays, or unforeseen service issues.
No verbal statement, estimate, opinion, courtesy statement, or informal comment by the technician shall modify these Terms & Conditions.
Any exception, additional warranty, extension, discount, or special agreement is valid only if expressly approved by Fluxentra Appliance Repair.
The person approving service represents that they are authorized to approve repairs, accept charges, and agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the customer, property owner, or responsible party.
The customer is responsible for monitoring the appliance after service, especially where water, drainage, heat, gas, or refrigeration performance is involved.
Diagnostic fees, service call fees, completed labor charges, and installed parts are non-refundable, except where required by law or where Fluxentra expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
If a valid warranty claim is confirmed for the specific covered repair, Fluxentra may, at Fluxentra Appliance Repair’s sole discretion:
- re-perform the repair,
- replace the covered part, or
- refund the amount paid for the specific covered labor or part at issue.
Any refund, if approved, is limited strictly to the amount actually paid for the specific repair service or covered part involved in the claim.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair shall not be liable for:
- loss of use of the appliance,
- food spoilage,
- water damage not caused by proven technician negligence,
- business interruption,
- hotel costs,
- inconvenience,
- lost income,
- incidental damages,
- consequential damages,
- replacement costs, or
damage arising from unrelated component failure.
The total liability of Fluxentra Appliance Repair, if any, shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair reserves the right to refuse, stop, or decline service at any time in the event of:
- unsafe conditions,
- a hostile environment,
- harassment,
- threats,
abusive language or behavior,
- unsanitary conditions,
- unlawful activity, or
refusal to follow scheduling or communication policies.
If service is stopped for any such reason, the diagnostic/service fee and any labor already performed remain due and non-refundable.
Fluxentra Appliance Repair may document the appliance condition, installation, surrounding area, visible defects, completed work, and testing results by written notes, photographs, or video for service, warranty, quality control, and dispute-resolution purposes.
Approval of the estimate, invoice, work order, service request, text confirmation, email confirmation, in-person authorization, or payment for service constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
